This episode of Carnage is a bit different to most, as Scotty gets to sample a brand new, 2024 Ford F-150, and also give us a run down in the workshop on where all the current Carnage projects are at.

First is our sleeper Lexcen wagon, called as such due to its 700rwhp, 1UZ turbo V8 swap. Scotty had it out at Calder Park recently, where it ran a fresh PB of 10.31@136MPH. While that was awesome, it did also push out some oil, so he’ll need to diagnose that before he shoots for the next goal which is nines.

A car set to get even faster than that is the recently finished VS ute. After a 10 month build, it just made 1100rwhp on the dyno with its 427ci, twin turbo, Dart LS package. The plan is to head to the strip with the MPW Performance crew and run this thing in, with the eventual goal of getting into the mid eights.

The fan favourite L67-swapped VN Berlina dubbed Supermang re-appeared on the channel a few weeks ago, Scotty reverting back to a more standard guise to get it ready for a roadworthy inspection. We need that because the rego lapsed, and once that’s sorted, Scotty can stab in the 4.2-litre stroker V6 engine we have sitting there ready to go – with a turbo!

The Trolvo was retired from Carnage duties last year, and we tried to sell it as a roller. That bid failed, so Scotty is taking the loveable Volvo home and has a plan to resurrect it on his own YouTube channel.

A car many may not know we have is this TA Torana. The four cylinder cousin to the LJ, we impulse purchased it during the hot Covid car market a few years ago. We’re not quite sure what to do with it yet, but it is a two door Torana, so if you want us to do something with it, then let us know!

And lastly, we have Turbo Taxi. It’s the original Carnage car, but in recent times its appearances on the channel have done nothing more than contribute to the depletion of LPG Barra supplies. Another engine is being machined as we type, and it’ll come back soon to chase that elusive 10.

To cap off, Scotty gives us his take on the new Ford F-150. Ford lent it to us to tow the VS ute to Heathcote for testing, but sadly it got rained out.

Scotty still got to keep it for the week, so he lets us know what he thinks of the twin turbo, 298kW American behemoth. Enjoy!
