Like pretty well everyone this time of year, we’re under the pump in the Carnage workshop to get everything sorted before the Christmas break, and in our case, Street Machine Summernats straight after.

So, for something different, Scotty decided to make this week’s episode of Carnage a bit of a behind the scenes look of what normally goes on to make YouTube content. So instead of glamorous shots, big power numbers on the dyno or fast times at the track, this episode shows what goes into making that happen.

This week was focused around getting our Grimace VS Commodore ute ready for Kenda’s Nightmare at The Bend radial racing event, which kicks off today when this story goes live on our website. Scotty is racing in the 5.50 index class, which is something you’ll see in next week’s episode.

Getting the ute ready involved getting some fresh racing rubber mounted to our Street Pro wheels, converting the car to full race spec and finishing off setting up the bump and trans brake buttons on the steering wheel for the cut throat racing of Kenda.

Scotty also needed a trailer to get Grimace across to Tailem Bend for the event, and Adam Rogash from MPW Performance was kind enough to lend us his one. Ford Australia handed Scotty a sweet F-150 to tow it with, which is the perfect roadtrip rig for just such a task.

He also gave us a run down on where all the Carnage project are at as we get ready to bring 2024 to a close, so sit back, grab your favourite frosty and enjoy a fresh episode of Carnage.
