Some of the toughest, loudest and most iconic drag cars in Australia are heading to Alice Springs, with the Wild Bunch National Titles joining the Heavy Hitter Drag Racing program at Red CentreNATS 12 presented by LMCT+.

Built to be pushed hard, Wild Bunch machines are a throwback to one of the most exciting eras in Australian drag racing. Featuring supercharged V8-powered beasts, opening doors and classic steel-bodied muscle cars, these machines deliver the sights, sounds and nostalgia that helped shape generations of Australian motorsport fans.

Made famous by legendary names including Victor Bray, Colin Will, Greg Thomsen, Benny Gatt, Johnny Mol, John Payne, Wild Bill Smith, Geoff Devlin, Peter Gratz, Les Winter, Al Fountain, the Jack Brothers, John Zappia, Garth McIntyre, Peter Smith and many others. The category continues to draw passionate competitors and fans who appreciate old-school horsepower at its absolute finest.

The Wild Bunch National Titles will headline a massive drag racing program at Red CentreNATS, with competitors chasing a share of a $30,000 prize pool and national bragging rights in the heart of Australia.

Mark Hunt from The Australian Wild Bunch said the opportunity to bring the National Titles to Red CentreNATS was a perfect fit.

Running from 3-6 September 2026, Red CentreNATS 12 presented by LMCT+ will feature four action-packed days of drag racing, burnouts, street cruising, elite show cars, off-road racing, motocross demonstrations, live entertainment and automotive culture.
