Day one of Drag Challenge 2026 was hard yakka, with more than a few oil downs that the track staff worked heroically to sort out all day. In the end, everyone got a shot at two passes, with some spectacular action in between.
The big news is that after heaving heads and turbos off the car last night, Barry Hall came out at the 11th hour to claim the outright spot to the tune of 7.154-seconds. But the Fords of Danny Howe and Keith Hards are not far behind.
