Street Machine Hall of Fame at Meguiar’s MotorEx

We’re revved up for a massive weekend at MotorEx at Melbourne Showgrounds

THIS weekend, Meguiar’s MotorEx returns to Melbourne Showgrounds, and it is going to be a big ’un. This will be the first event run under the new owners and the first time the good folks from SEMA will play an official role as well.

We’ve dialled up our involvement this year, too. For starters, we’ll have a trade stand in the Street Elite Pavilion – right beside where the covers come off the latest and greatest show cars on Saturday morning during the House Of Kolor Inauguration. We’ll have the Carnage MX5.7 on display, so come down and say g’day! We’d love to meet you and hear your thoughts about what we are doing in the mag, online and with Carnage.

We’ll have the reigning Valvoline SMOTY title-holder and 13 other winners, finalists and flat-out legendary cars in attendance. They’ll be rubbing shoulders with a bunch of sporting and entertainment legends and their cars, including Barry Hall, Alan Moffat, Sam Newman and Andrew Daddo.

The Hall Of Fame is located beside the Street Elite Pavilion and opposite the Meguair’s Superstars Hall. And by some strange coincidence, the Hall Of Fame also contains the only licensed bar in the whole joint. Which has got nothing to do with us, of course…
