After a mad thrash to get our Dart-blocked, twin-turbo VS Commodore ute build to MotorEx 2024, Scotty gets to enjoy the fruits of his labour as he takes a much needed break from the tools to check out the show.

Held at the Melbourne Showgrounds, Meguiar’s MotorEx is the biggest car show for Australia’s best show metal. There’s halls stacked to the brim with legendary show cars, from current Street Machine elite winners through to old school builds still holding their own. 

The Real Street, drifting and burnout demos ensure it’s not a fully static show, and the trader hall (where the Carnage cars spent their weekend) showcases all the latest technology in the car modifying industry.

In the coming weeks Scotty will get the ute ready for its first fire up, and we can also tease the Lexcen has visited the drag strip since this episode with some awesome results – so stay tuned for that!
