The Superstars Grandmaster title is the pinnacle accolade for elite car builds in Australia, awarded each year at Meguiar’s MotorEx.
To be in contention, a car must score an invitation at one of several qualifying events held over the course of the year. The first of these is the previous year’s MotorEx, with other qualifying events including Street Machine Summernats, the Adelaide Auto Expo, the Mackay Motor Show, Rockynats, and Showcars Melbourne.
Out of the 23 Superstars invitees, the six highest-scoring cars earn a spot in the Super Six, which comes with a trophy and cash prize.
The highest-scoring car in the Super Six is declared the Grandmaster, which carries an $8000 cash prize and everlasting acclaim as the best show car in the country.
This year’s Grandmaster will be awarded at Meguiar’s MotorEx, 2-3 May at Melbourne Showgrounds. Check out the contenders for the title below, and tell us your Grandmaster pick in the comments!
