We had our fingers crossed that it wouldn’t come to this, but the worsening COVID-19 situation in Victoria means that we’ll have to cancel Street Machine Drag Challenge for 2021, which was scheduled for 18-22 October.

The hope was that we could run the event as a Victorian-only affair, but it is not to be. We’ll run our five-day Drag Challenge once more in October 2022 and we’ll announce dates for that early next year.

But if you can’t wait that long, we’re proud to announce that we’ll be running our first Victorian-based three day Drag Challenge Weekend event, 25-27 March 2022. The new event will start and finish at Heathcote Park Raceway, with the second track to be announced soon. We’ll open entries for that event next month.

In the meantime, if you were entered in Drag Challenge 2021, we’ll automatically roll over your entry to the full five-day event scheduled for October 2022. If you’d prefer a refund, email us at [email protected] before 28 September. No refunds will be permitted after that date.

We’ll also announce dates for a Queensland Drag Challenge Weekend once track upgrades at Warwick Dragway have further progressed.

Thanks to all our entrants, the tracks and our amazing sponsors for your support in these crazy times. We can’t wait to get back out on the track with you next year!
