CAR commercials in Australia are nothing like what they use to be – remember the AU XR8 ute racing a land speed car while being “stuck in third”? You’d struggle to get anything that entertaining on our screens nowadays, with the fun police raining down on anything mildly exciting, so we have to look to the Americans to bring some spark back to the world of car advertising.

The new ad was launched during last night’s Golden Globe Awards telecast, with at least half-a-dozen TV and movie cars all racing towards a Walmart in their own comical and unique way.
