CRAIG Geddes races in the Competition Eliminator dragster series with a unique setup. His seven-second sled is powered by a tunnel-rammed 283-cube Chev motor that spins all the way to 10,000rpm and pumps out 750hp.
That works out to be a little over 2.6hp per cubic inch, which amazing stuff without a supercharger. If that wasn’t crazy enough the dragster swaps gears through a Liberty five-speed clutchless air shift gearbox. Craig is currently leading his class after winning three out of four comps and coming second on one occasion. We caught up with Craig at the ANDRA Australian Nationals at Calder Park last weekend to chat about the car and his season so far.
