We’ve been following the adventures of Steven Loader and UCSMOKE for 20 years or so now. The HT Holden Premier featured on the March 2009 cover and the combination is always one to watch when it hits the pad. These days, Steve also competes in Sprintcar racing with one of the most professionally presented programs outfits in the country.

Steve still loves his skids though and he recently brought UCSMOKE to MPW Performance & Racefab for a tune up session on the hub dyno ahead of Brashernats.

This week, Adam is joined by Steve, John Pilla of Powerhouse engines and burnout legend and all-around good guy Warren Eustace as they team up to tuned UCSMOKE’s ballistic mechanically-injected blown big block.

How much horsepower will they make? And how do the boys tune the car without an ECU? Let’s find out!

Thanks heaps to Flinty for the burnout footage!
