1970 CST/10 Chevrolet C10
This week’s auction watch kicks off with a vehicle very close to our hearts – the former Unique Cars C10 CST/10 Chevrolet pickup.
The C10 was brought into the country in 2010 and its green duco was soon covered in carbon fibre and brushed titanium wrap. It then spent a decade as the Unique Cars and later the Street Machine shop track.
We’ve had a lot of good times in this truck, including a great trip to Summernats and the time we used to to tow our art director’s Model A coupe to Chopped.
All good things must come to an end however and the Chev could be yours, check it out here. Biddig opens 9 November.
HOLDEN VP COMMODORE SS
Nothing gets folks of a certain age excited like a VN SS, especially in Atlas Grey. But looking at this manual-equipped VP SS example in bright, blinking red, we reckon it deserves some attention of its own. It is currently sitting at $18K with less than a day to go.
VK HDT SS GROUP THREE
We don’t see VK Group Threes come on the market very often and this 4.9-litre, five-speed Series II example is a beauty. The current bidding is at almost $89K, with less than 24 hours to go.
HQ GTS MONARO
This HQ GTS was a 253-equipped car out of the factory, but is now running a 350/350 combo. Inside is custom trim, with a full set of Autometers and power-adjustable driver’s seat. Bidding opens 2 November.
VR HSV GTS 215i
In 1994, this was as hot as home-grown Aussie muscle got. A VR GTS Diablo Red with the 215i factory stroker V8, Hydratrak LSD, and six-speed manual transmission! All wrapped that super-classy Ian Callum bodykit. This is build 22 of just 277 ever produced. Bidding opens 2 November, check it out here.
