Powered by a 440 Chrysler block stroked out to 500ci, this was Michelle’s second year of running at Drag Week after a two-year build with the help of her husband. Built to be both a drag and street machine, the car never gets trailered to the drags and Michelle claims all she had to do to get ready for this year’s event was change the oil and freshen the trans.
Despite facing overheating problems on the road, Michelle still managed to beat her husband to the title of being the first person to run a ten in the car – punching out a 10.9 on the second day of Drag Week in Darlington in the Pro Street NA class.
Michelle loves driving the car on the street, frequently driving it on the weekends and even to work on occasion.
