Everyone has an opinion on what constitutes a street car, and the quicker the cars get the more intense the argument becomes; how do you decide what’s street and what’s not?

So in 2014 we took a leaf out of Hot Rod’s book and created our own version of their iconic Drag Week – we call it Street Machine Drag Challenge. It’s the toughest test for street cars in the country.

And this year, we’re adding two Rods Out burnout shows on days three and four to really amp up the action!

Here’s how the 2024 event is going to go down:

• • Tuesday 29 October: Check-in – Calder Park Raceway, 9am-6pm

• • Wednesday 30 October: Day One – Calder Park Raceway, 9am-3pm

• • Thursday 31 October: Day Two – Sunset Strip Mildura, 9am-3pm

• • Friday 1 November: Day Three – Dragway at the Bend, 9am-3pm, plus Rods Out burnouts

• • Saturday 2 November: Day Four – Heathcote Park Raceway, 2pm-8pm, Rods Out burnouts

• • Sunday 3 November: Day Five – Heathcote Park Raceway, 9am -3pm
