The 10th running of Street Machine Drag Challenge is almost with us! There are over 280 of Australia’s toughest street cars lined up to take on the most-epic drag & drive event that this country has to offer.

At the pointy end of the field, we have two genuine six-second street cars duking it out, with Mark Drew’s 2023 event-winning Crusty Torana facing off against Keith Hards’s infamous FAIRXW Fairmont. The XW is also a Drag Challenge winner, having taken out the big dance in 2018 with Frank Marchese behind the wheel.

The whole field is chock-full of fascinating cars from all over the country, with racers coming from as far away as Darwin, Perth and Tassie to participate in the 10th running of this crazy event.

This year, the event starts and finishes at Dragway at the Bend in South Australia, giving the racers at shot at a full quarter mile. The finale on Sunday will be massive! You can join in by bringing your own ride for the VIP Park-Up. More info on that, here.

And for the first time, we’re having a day/night double header at Mildura’s Atlantic Oils Sunset Strip! The Friday night will also feature a VIP Park UP Presented by Davison Motors and FREE Laser Tag!
