THE Pambula Motorfest is happening on the far south coast of NSW all weekend, and includes a swap meet, show ’n’ shine, trade stalls and plenty of activities for the kids. The event is open to all makes and models, from Euros to Aussie and American muscle to lowriders.

At Willowbank Raceway in Queensland we have the test ’n’ tune drags and the JP Racing eighth-mile series on Saturday. It’s a great inexpensive day out that should provide plenty of thrills! It’s $45 to drive and $20 to spectate. Passengers can also hop in cars for a spin, so bring your mates along for a scare!

Nearby in Ipswich, the Cool Cruisers Spring Classic Show & Cruise is on Saturday afternoon. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to Best Australian, Best Rat Rod, Best Pro Street and a bunch more, and all profits from the event will be donated to the Ipswich Hospital Special Needs ward.

After the Ford Hardtop Anniversary last weekend, the Victorian town of Echuca will host the Chevrolet Convention Show ’n’ Shine this Sunday. The event is open to all pre-1975 chrome bumper cars – not just Chevys. Entry is $10, which gets you a goody bag and T-shirt.

Also in Victoria is the Wallan Swap Meet & Classic Car Show held all day Sunday. Prizes will be awarded to the best car from a number of categories including Ford, Holden, American and Vintage.

There’s also a test ’n’ tune session at Heathcote Raceway on Sunday. Gates open at 8:30am with track time from 11am onwards. It’s $60 to drive and $20 to spectate, and it’s free for children under 14.

The HSV Owners Club of NSW Muscle Car Show is happening on Sunday in Campbelltown, NSW. V8 Supercars driver Tim Slade will be a special guest and happy to meet fans and sign autographs. The show is open to HDT, HSV and modified cars and public entry is free!

The Merrylands Muster & Mustang State Concours is happening in NSW on Sunday. If you’re a Mustang fan check out this free show ’n’ shine event – there should be some very mint pony cars on display.
