TIM Cross’s twin-turbo Cortina is Australia’s fastest car on 275 radials having ran a 7.0 at over 200mph on multiple occasions. Jammed under the bonnet is a Pro Line twin-turbo race engine built by Frank from Dandy Engines and it is hooked up to a two-speed Powerglide. The car makes around 2000hp and still has more boost left in it. Tim is aiming to get the car into the six-second bracket on the 275 radials, then he plans to switch to a bigger tyre.
