THEY say nostalgia ‘aint what it used to be, but there was action aplenty at the Cruzin Nostaglia Drags, held at Sydney Dragway last Sunday. There was a big contingent of gassers in attendance this year, including Damien Kemp in his Funderbolt from Victoria as well as Bridger Frankland’s wild FB Holden sedan delivery from Queensland. Shaun Pask was also down from the Sunshine State in his Knuckle Duster Valiant wagon, but went home with catastrophic engine failure. The meeting marks the end of a hectic period for the Victorian gasser crew, who have raced at the Brisbane, Mildura and twice at Sydney over the last few weeks. Good on the lads for their efforts in making drag racing great again!
