BEFORE Gazzanats Darwin Luke Jones had never driven a blown car before or even competed in a burnout competition! Fresh out of the build, his HQ is powered by a 400-cube small-block Chev with an 8/71 blower – it makes about 1000hp. Gazzanats was the car’s debut and maiden skid and Luke was pretty nervous.

“My main concern was that I had no idea how the car would handle having not done a test skid or anything, but once I tipped it in it was all good. I was a lot more confident for my second run,” said the West Aussie. Check out the video to see how he went!
