Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse is back supporting our Young Street Machine of the Year competition for 2026! Submissions open next Friday 17 July, so if you are aged 24 or younger, start getting some cracking images of your ride ready!

And yep, there’ll also be a series of YSMOTY Cars & Coffee events at Hare & Forbes stores across the nation, including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth! Sorry Brisbane – the Coopers Plains store will be in the process of moving to massive new premises, so we’ll have to skip you guys this year.

As per last year, the YSMOTY Cars & Coffee events will be open to anyone to attend and bring their car, and will be a great chance for entrants to drum up some more votes. Each Hare & Forbes store will be shouting coffee and snacks, and staff will be on hand to show you around the store and some of the incredible equipment.

Street Machine will also have photographers present to document each event (see last year’s coverage here) and will choose a couple of their favourite cars for a professional Young Guns shoot on the day.
