Since 1988, Street Machine of the Year has been the most prestigious accolade in our sport. You’ve only got to read the list of winners on the side of that iconic trophy to see that some of the biggest names and most significant cars in Aussie street machining have taken out the award over the years.

The winner of Street Machine of the Year scores a cool $20,000 in cash and a comically oversized cheque, and gets their name added to the list of legends etched into the side of the most recognisable perpetual trophy in the Aussie car scene, bar none.

The Street Machine team have done their part and chosen the 16 finalists from the  December 2025 to November 2026 issues. Now the rest is up to you! You have no easy task ahead of ou, with an incredible variety of cars in the running. In fact, we have three diesel-powered cars in the running, how wild is that?

The winning voter will be drawn on 15 December. We’ll contact the winner on the day and publish their name on our website.
