Can’t wait until January next year to get your Street Machine Summernats burnout fix?

Then we have good news for you, because Summernats Smash is coming to Sydney Dragway with Burnout Masters tickets and $15,000 of prizes and money up for grabs!

The one day event is for burnouts only, with Mick Brasher and his rotary-swapped Corolla ULEGAL headlining a big act of contenders duking it out in both aspirated and blown classes.

Entries for both classes are filling fast, with big names for the blown class including Jack Seaman in BLOWNQ, Jesse Johnson in KILLAK, , Nathan Sutherland in KILLASET, Rick Fuller’s LSONE VK, Harry Seaman’s six-banger VK HAZARD, Steven Edsall’s XC SKDUTE plus a whole lot more!

Heavy hitters lining up in the aspirated ranks include Brad and Britt Kilby in HAMMERTIME, Daniel Battersby in LSDAT, Daniel Vella’s FRYLC Torana, Ben Patchings Suzuki Mighty Boy LOOPY, Peter Thompson in SKDLUX, and Dean Hay in his GUNLS1 Gemini with plenty more lining up behind them.

They’ll all be throwing belts as they chase $15K in prizes and, critically, three of the last Burnout Masters tickets for Street Machine Summernats 34 in January.

Here’s the full prize money breakdown for each class:

BLOWN

  • 1st – $5000 – Burnout Masters ticket
  • 2nd – $2000 – Burnout Masters ticket
  • 3rd – $1000

NA

  • 1st – $3000 – Burnout Masters ticket
  • 2nd – $1500
  • 3rd – $500

There’s also $2000 in additional prize value to nab across the two classes. If any winner or runner-up has already qualified for the Street Machine Summernats 34 Burnout Masters, the next highest placed entrant(s) will take their spot.

Being a burnout-only event means it’ll be run under Motorsport Australia sanctioning, with the format consisting of two scored burnouts. The results from each skid will be tallied up to confirm the winners for each class.

Tickets are on sale right now for both entrants and spectators. Early bird entry for the burnout comp is just $180, which includes a pass for you, your machine, a friend and a support vehicle into Sydney Dragway at no extra cost.

Early-bird pricing for spectators is listed below, but you’ll need to take advantage before the November 20 price jump:

  • Adult (17 + Year) – $43.50
  • Youth (11 – 16 Years) – $23.50
  • Under 10 – $11.50
  • Family (2 Adult + 2 Youth) – $103.50

So if you’re in NSW, what are you waiting for? You can grab both spectator or burnout competition tickets at the link here, and we can’t wait to see some long-awaited Summernats burnout action!
