The November 2023 mag is out now – let’s a have a peek inside!

On the cover is one of the star debuts of Street Machine Summernats 35, Tim Laidler’s genuine HSV SV88, powered by a 8/71-blown 540ci big-block. Tim isn’t going to let the car’s show-quality build stop him from subjecting it to Drag Challenge at some stage, though. How? He’ll remove the blower for each of the road legs.

Speaking of Drag Challenge, Ryan O’Donohue took out the Speed Pro Six-Cylinder class at DC 2022-’23 in his Barra-powered F100. It is one hell of a build, combining killer fabrication with a righteous stance and speed aplenty.

On the other side of the Barra ledger is Hamish Davidson’s Jaguar XJC. Built by the crew at Exclusive Customs, the Jag was one of the stars of Meguiar’s MotorEx 2023.

Charlie Azzopardi’s 1956 Chev was also unveiled at MotorEx. The big block-powered Chevy is a killer home-build.

Adam Francica’s concept for his XY was to build a street-legal pro streeter that keeps the firepower under the bonnet, but still runs hard. The detail work and thinking behind the car is impressive!

Memories of Melbourne in the 80s inspired Freddy Finnegan to build his dream HK Monaro, complete with blown 555ci Chev power.

Yep, this is a genuine HSV Gen-F GTS, but instead of LSA power, we’ve got a screaming 8/71-blown SBC under the bonnet.

Torana Muscle on the Murray is a cool event held in the border towns of Albury-Wodonga. We sent out Luke Hunter and Steve Titcumb to check it out!

November 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the FX Holden! To celebrate, we check out the most famous FX-FJ Holdens of all time, give the young ’uns an essential Holden history lesson, and delve into the black arts of bolt-on LS hot-up techniques.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Enjoy and tell your friends!
