A pair of brand new VF GTSR Maloos are up for auction

If you missed the chance to grab a brand new HSV GTSR Maloo back in 2017, then good news – two have come up for auction in pre-delivery condition.

The VF GTSR Maloo was the last hurrah for HSV’s ute-tuning efforts before Holden shut up shop in 2017, and is arguably the pinnacle of Australian performance utes.

The LSA featured more grunt over the standard VF Maloos, and the GTSR also had a wider track (6mm), bigger wheels – measuring 20×9-inch up front and 20×10-inch in the back – as well as a different bodykit and a smattering of other small changes.

Being GTSRs means both utes are slung with supercharged 6.2-litre LSA V8s, developing 435kW and 740Nm.

The orange ute is build number 186, finished in the GTSR hero colour ‘light my fire’ and optioned with the six-speed automatic.

Both of the Maloos are going under the hammer at Lloyds auction, and at the time of writing the green Maloo sits at $161,000, while the orange Maloo’s bidding is a smidge lower at $147,000.

For reference, MSRP for GTSR Maloos in 2017 started at $96,990 for a manual, or $99,490 for an automatic.

Along with the two GTSR Maloos, Lloyds is also offering a 2009 Holden W427 build #99 and a 1990 Holden Commodore VN SS in the same auction.

Bidding wraps up from 10am tomorrow (Saturday) AEST, and you can view the listing for the green Maloo here and the orange one here.
