“There’s something special about an Aussie restoration that carries a bit of local history with it, and my 1963 International C1300 is the perfect example.

“What started life as a humble Bathurst council fuel truck has transformed into one of the most talked-about classics on the show circuit.

“My story with the car began in the mid-1990s, when my brother picked it up and decided the old girl deserved a second chance. What followed was a long, detailed restoration that stretched across decades.

“The truck was stripped, straightened, rebuilt and refined – a labour of love in every sense. Sadly, when my brother passed away, the project stalled, but eventually I set about finishing the restoration with care and dedication.

“The result is a show-stopping machine that turns heads wherever it goes, and it’s picked up plenty of awards at car shows and motor events over the years. Wherever I take the Inter, people stop to ask about it.”
