THE July issue of Street Machine is one sale now and features a tribute to the late, great Carroll Shelby.
Most famous as the creator of the AC Cobra and his eponymous Mustangs, Shelby began his career as a top-flight race driver, with his greatest victory occurring at Le Mans in 1959. He would later guide the Ford GT40 to the first of a string of victories in 1967 and went to work with Chrysler, before returning to the Blue Oval late in his career. It is a fascinating yarn and we’ve also put a classic shot of Shelby and three Cobras on one side of our pull-out poster.
Other goodies in the new issue include Mark Sullivan’s new Mustang, a wild COE from New Zealand, a 9-second Gemini streeter and a slammed HZ wagon.
