CUSTOM CITY
THIS 1950 Chev coupe has a bitching 5-inch roof chop and a mostly-complete right-hand-drive conversion There is a Ford 9in diff on Chassis Engineering leaf springs out back and a HR front end with drop spindles at the pointy end. The car is set up for a 392 Hem and TH350 driveline and while it still needs a lot of work, even Blind Freddy can see the potential here.
CADDYSHACK
WE just dig this 1962 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Great flames, nice trim and airbags all ’round add up to a tasty package. Caddys need lots of loving to stay fun, but if this one stands up to closer inspection, you would be the life of the party in this baby. Price? $31,000.
GOT WOOD?
AS the price of classic Aussie metal spirals, there are a lot of potential bargains to be had with American imports. This 1963 Falcon Squire wagon is sold, but is a great example of what can be had. While the left-hand-drive thing no doubt puts some punters off, this was a great little unit, with 170ci six and two-speed auto with an asking price of $11,500 or best offer. Much cheaper than an Aussie Squire in similar condition.
TRUCKING LIFE
THIS long wheelbase 1976 Ford F250 extra cab is also sold, but what a rig! The beast is powered by a 390 FE big block with FiTech throttle body injection and backed by a column-shift ’auto. The whole thing sits 5-inches closer to the ground than stock, runs dual fuel tanks and has such goodies as power steering, air conditioning and a Lincoln tiller! Very jealous of the lucky new owner.
