The competition in the elite judging at Summernats 35 was red hot.
There were some previous Top 10 placers in the mix, including Jasons Sandner and Mansweto.
Others had form at MotorEx, like Livi Krevatin’s Top Street Machine-winning Porsche 911.
And then there were some unveils by some proven performers like Howard Astill, Ricky Absolom and Pat O’Shea.
With judging done, the Top 20 was almost evenly split between newly finished cars and the proven performers.
Key takeaways? The sheer number of high-quality cars being built each year shows no sign of slowing, recession be dammed. And the majority of them are being built to drive. Win-win!
