THE winners of the Repco Real Rides virtual car show have been announced and there are many Street Machine feature cars in the mix.

Chris Bitmead’s XBOSS, the only Australian car to make the Great Eight at the Detroit Autorama, was named winner of the Grand Master Award, Elite & Best Interior
Peter Fitzpatrick’s SMOTY and multiple Grand Champion-winning twin-turbo FC Holden TRILOGY won 2nd Elite and Best Paint
Jason Behan’s VG Valiant is a current SMOTY contender, check out the feature story here
Ben Judd’s EH Holden wagon is another former Valvoline Street Machine of the Year winner and took out 2nd in Street Machine class
Shane Harvey’s GRUNTA is a celebration of 80s street machine culture writ large! He won the People’s Choice Elite award and the Best Stance gong
Charlie Harley’s 1957 Chev is also in contention for this year’s $20,000 Valvoline SMOTY award. Charlie won the Street Machine class and 2nd Interior
Drag Challenge legend John Kerr’s incredible Mercury truck came second in the Classic category
Tomi Vatavuk’s home-brewed XB sedan scored an invite to the Superstars final at MotorEx 2021. It is a very cool build, check it out here
Kylie and Adam Perry’s Tailspin FB Holden won Top Custom and 2nd Paint
Young gun Blake Evans took out 3rd Street Machine in his super-sano LC
Curtis Grima’s killer ’32 roadster nabbed 3rd in Hot Rod

THERE aren’t a whole lot of car shows going on anywhere right now, but the team from Repco are putting on Australia’s best virtual car show to fill the void.
They’ve set up a virtual display area and to sweeten the deal they are offering a $30,000 prize pool!
Master painter Rachael Durbidge is part of the judging panel
There are a bunch of Pinnacle Awards, including Street Machine, Custom, 4WD, Elite, Custom and Competition, with a Grand Master gong at the top.
There are also Category Awards, including Best Interior, Best Engine Bay and Best Paint. All of these are going to be judged by a panel including Owen Webb, Rachael Durbidge, Howard Astill, Jake Myers, yours truly, and a mystery international judge.
And to top it off, there are a bunch of People’s Choice Awards.
Also on the judging panel is Street Machine Summernats 32 Burnout Master, Jake Myers
