THIS was Carolyn Rosser’s third Street Machine Drag Challenge, but the first behind the wheel of the family’s LS-powered VX Commodore, which saw hubby Mick and their two boys relegated to crew.

Holden VX Commodore“I almost chickened out!” Carolyn admitted. “But the Commodore didn’t miss a beat on the track or street – the heater and a/c worked a treat on the road and we used cruise control most of the trip, too!

Holden VX Commodore“My aim was to not make a fool of myself, to finish and enjoy our week away as a family – oh, and to manage a decent burnout! I hoped to place in the top half of the DYO field, so I was really pleased with 21st [out of 69 K&N DYO finishers].”

Holden VX CommodoreLook out for the Rosser family at DC19 – they’ll have to flip a coin to see who’s racing.
