On a freezing July night in 2004, a fateful trip to Calder Park Raceway with a one-megapixel camera hooked a young Chris Thorogood on photographing modified cars. He quickly worked his way through the ranks to start shooting with Street Machine and established himself as an invaluable member of the team. Chris has shot countless covers and feature cars for SM and covered numerous big events including Hot Rod Drag Week in the USA and Mooneyes in Japan. He has owned a variety of cars over the years, including a ’bagged Mercedes, an HG Kingswood, a rusty custom ’61 Buick and a ’59 Chev wagon.
