In a special episode this week on our YouTube channel, Adam ventures to the United States of drag and drag in Missouri to take on Sick 66 with ‘Mister Zachary’ Zac Martens and Hoonigan!
For those who’ve been following Hoonigan’s adventures for many moons, they may remember when the mob originally built this third generation Camaro in collaboration with Chevrolet to debut their then-new 632ci big-block crate motor, the ZZ632/1000. The 1000 in that number stands for 1000hp, on pump fuel out of the box.

From SEMA build to drag racer, Adam and Zac decided to take this thing the Sick 66 drag and drive, following the famous Route 66. In a special episode over an hour long, you’ll get to see how much this thing tested Adam and Zac throughout the full week of drag and drive, starting right at the start of the week when the lads had the sump off to replace all the main bearings from a suspected bent crank.

While most would give up at that point, Adam didn’t fly all that way to sit on the sidelines. The boys threw some makeshift bearings in, and continued on.
More SEMA-esque build quality reared its head during the week when the right hand wheel studs decided a wireless connection would be best, giving Adam more headaches to solve.

It’s not all doom and gloom for the week though, the lads pushing through and chipping away at the Camaros pace, eventually getting quick enough to earn a pretty sweet standing at the end of the event. So sit back, grab your favourite coldie and lock in for over an hour of drag and drive goodness to kick start your weekend.
