Dubbo Motorfest is one of our favorite regional shows, with both entrants and punters turning out in droves each year. This year’s event is being held on Saturday 29 August and it will be a bigger weekend than ever, with No Prep Australia running an event at nearby Bodangora the very next day!

There are some cracking cars lined up for their first shot at Dubbo. Fresh from winning the Grand Master gong at Meguiar’s MotorEx, Michael Ellard’s Toyota Celica is a car that is well worth spending some time crawling all over. Even if the body style or Tesla interior aren’t your cup of Milo, the innovative way in which the car has been crafted is seriously impressive.

Greg Jones’s home-brewed EK wagon was a SMOTY nominee a couple of years ago, but has otherwise kept a fairly low profile. We reckon it is a build that deserves a lot more acclaim and is one that is going to age like a fine wine.

Leanne Horkings’s slammed 1952 Chev Suburban has been a star of numerous shows since it was unveiled in 2020. The Chev is an ex-US armed forces vehicle and is a mind-blowing example of a rare bodystyle.

Leisa and Shane Chinock’s PSYCHO XF Falcon was one of the stars of the mid-2000s show car explosion that saw the likes of Gary Myers’s Silver Bullet, Mark Jones’s FATGTO and many other rampage across the elite car scene.
