AFTER being involved in an accident at the strip with his HR Holden wagon, Nick Harvey came back bigger and better. He upgraded his 350 Chev powerplant to handle a 200 shot of nitrous, up from a 150 shot, resprayed the whole car and went with a new Weld wheel and tyre combo. Previously the car ran a 10.39 @ 131mph, but with the bigger shot of gas Nick should top that pretty soon. The recent Kenda Radial 1/8th mile meet was Nick’s first time racing the car again since its rebuild after the accident, where he had no issues running a new PB of 6.67 @ 105mph.
The rest of the driveline includes a two-speed Powerglide with a high stall converter, ran into a nine-inch rear end. Check out the video as Nick talks us through the car and to see this cool HR wagon in action.
