In this episode of Carnage, Scotty gets our supercharged VN ready for registration

In a recent episode of Carnage, Scotty revealed that we had plans to twin charge the stroked, 4.2-litre V6 engine in our VN Berlina with both the M90 blower and a turbo!

But, before we can do that, we need to get some rego plates back on this thing. That means it needs to pass inspection, and the easiest way to do that is by making the car nice and sedate.

As such, this week’s episode focuses and returning the VN back to a more standard form. Scotty re-fits the engine cover with some minor modifications, and Macgyvered the VN intake tube to suit the L67 and the factory airbox to quieten down the intense blower whine from the M90.

We love the Haltech iC-7 dash, but for simplicity and an odometer, Scotty switched out the digital display temporarily for the original one. We should advise an odometer can be programmed into an iC-7 if needed, this was just the easier option for us at the time.

And with that done, she’s ready for inspection! Then, Scotty plans to chuck a brand new set of Street Pro wheels on the VN, and get this thing twin charged and humming. But for now, enjoy this week’s episode below!
