The December 2024 issue of Street Machine is on sale now, featuring Ron Barclay’s amazing Camaro build on the cover.

The cover design features a front-on image of the car with Ron at the wheel and his faithful doggo riding shotgun, with a nod to his iconic SMOTY-winning HQ ute in the lower right-hand corner, as featured on our January-February 1991 cover.

Chris Schembri’s tasteful-yet-tough HT Monaro features an 8/71-blown LS, killer stance and factory muscle car appeal in spades. The elite-level stunner has won silverware at Summernats, but it’s now consigned to school pick-ups and coffee runs with the family.

Our man on the ground in Western Australia stumbled upon Joey Stivaletta’s XT Fairmont at a cars-and-coffee event, and we had to show it to you. Highlights include an understated factory aesthetic, stonking 408ci Clevo and a stellar engine bay.

Jacinta Locke’s candy fuchsia HQ One Tonner was unveiled to the world at Rockynats 4, and it’s an absolute glamour! A bunch of chassis work (including a four-link rear end) was required to achieve the look Jacinta was after, with a custom tray, searing paint, killer interior and a warmed-over LS completing the package.

One for the Mopar fans, Colin McQuinn’s VF Valiant boasts a stack of body mods, pro touring chassis package and a 426ci Prefix Gen III Hemi crate motor. What a car!

The Coombes brothers have painstakingly rebuilt their late father Phil’s HR Prem into an absolute showpiece in tribute to him. The LS-powered toughie now faithfully serves as a cruiser for family outings, and we reckon Phil would be stoked.

Yet another WA streeter, Clint DiGiovanni’s genre-bending F100 melds mini-truck styling cues with pro touring underpinnings and a twin-turbo Toyota 1UZ V8 for plenty of shove!

We’ll also introduce you to the contenders for the 2024 Eagle Auto Parts Street Machine of the Year, supported by Enthusiast Motor Insurance; take you along to Toranafest; give you a guided tour of Chopped; and present you with a 13B-powered Subaru BRZ, of all things!

The December 2024 issue of Street Machine is on sale now – don’t miss it.
