EARLIER this year, the good folk over at Jalopnik.com took it upon themselves to list all the real cars that have been featured in The Simpsons over the years.

A pretty neat idea, especially since the Internet Movie Cars Database has already done most of the legwork.

Their list is exhaustive and includes Smart cars, Volvos and other snooze-mobiles, so we’ve done our own list of just the cool stuff, and included some context as well.
