WITH a background in V8 Supercars and Top Alcohol racing, Queensland-based Noonan Ultimate Race Engineering has been putting in the hard yards over the past 12 months to develop three new engine platforms for high-performance racing. Working out of both Australia and their shop in Lindon, Utah in the States, they’ve tested and launched three new donks for the racing market: a 4.900in-bore Hemi, an all-billet water-jacketed Hemi, and the LS-EDGE – a billet alloy block available either solid or water-jacketed and capable of handling over 2000hp, while retaining standard engine mounts and stud patterns.

Noonan Hemi EngineJamie Noonan has been coming to the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis for many years now, but this one in particular was special, being the first time all three engine platforms were shown to the public. “It’s been a long road to get here with these projects. It’s a big program, big design, big R&D costs and now we’re all here this weekend with our three engines,” he said.

Using race-winning technology and challenging the conventional set-ups of both LS and Hemi engines, Jamie and the team were proud to display their latest and greatest all weekend at the trade show, and talk through the finer details with anyone that came past to admire.
