“My 1994 ED Falcon started off as a completely standard, one-owner, low-kilometre example that I acquired three days after turning 16.

Over the past 17 years, the car has slowly evolved into what it is today. It received a full respray in the original Cardinal Red, along with some subtle changes from factory such as an XR front lower lip. The latest, and possibly my favourite, addition is the Global Trim 19×8.5 EB GT wheels finished in gold.
Mechanically, it still retains a naturally aspirated SOHC six-cylinder, but it’s a modified version that I pieced together myself. It has a ported Tickford cylinder head, stage-three Clive cam, Crane valve springs, MLS head gasket, ACL pistons and a host of other upgrades, which have it producing 170rwkW (228hp).
Behind the rebuilt engine sits an Exedy HD clutch, the factory T5 gearbox and an XR6 diff fitted with a KAAZ centre and 3.9:1 gears, and there’s Koni shocks, King Springs and Nolathane bushes all ’round.
The interior has had a full custom leather retrim using WRX front seats and various Fairmont Ghia pieces. There’s also a factory Momo wheel and some later-model Falcon items.
The audio system is all Alpine products, including the head unit, speakers, amps and subs. Future plans include a new engine combo and an overall freshen-up.
Given that it is my first car and I have done so much with it over the years, it’s very sentimental and I don’t intend on parting with it anytime soon.”
