IN THE burnout scene these days we’re seeing plenty of show quality rides with $50,000 engines so it’s always refreshing to see something built on a budget like Adam Slorach’s 1967 HR Holden ute.

What’s even better is Adam is beating the big boys at their own game. He’s already won Summernats, the premiere event on the Australian burnout calendar, and he competed twice (finishing in the Top Ten both times) in the prestigious National Burnout Masters – the only six-cylinder vehicle to qualify so far.
