There are always plenty of West Aussies at Red CentreNATS, including show cars, burnout beasts, drag weapons and even streeters that are driven all the way to Alice Springs.
This year’s crop will be extra special, with the family and friends of the late Nigel Warr bringing a B-double full of rides across the country in his honour.
Nigel, of course, won the Red CentreNATS Grand Champion gong in 2022, in his ProCharged, 567ci big block-powered HQ ute.
After Nigel passed in 2023, his nearest and dearest banded together to get 74UTE to Motorvation 38, where his son Tom took out the Grand Champion award for his dad.
And for Red CentreNATS 10, the crew have gone full-send and have a B-double ready to roll stacked with toughies.
This will include the SEQUEL EH Holden of Mitch Rando. Mitch is himself a former Motorvation Grand Champion in his Camaro and came close to nabbing another one this year in the EH. You can read all about the beast in the latest issue of SM.
Of course, 74UTE will be back for another shot at Grand Champion glory, but the big news is that the Warr family will be debuting an incredible HQ Monaro that Nigel had in the build before he passed.
And there will be a stack of other cool rides on the truck, including Tom’s super-sweet C10 Chev. See you there, lads!
