Michael Ludviksen and Nathan Camilleri from the Hackshop Garage YouTube channel returned to Calder Park Raceway on Saturday for the Optima Ultimate Street Car, throwing down in Michael’s HQ sedan and Nathan’s sleepy XE Falcon GL.

The pair have contested both Drag Challenge and the Hardass 1000 drag and drives numerous times, most recently undertaking a 14 week build on Nathan’s XE for Drag Challenge 2024. You can read the full story on the XE here, including the conversion to SOHC turbo six power!
This year was also their second run at OUSC, Michael in the same HQ last year and Nathan in his NF Fairlane. “I probably drove the HQ too hard last year, but we had a lot of fun,” says Michael.

If you’re unfamiliar with the big ‘Q, she’s a GTS tribute running a rebuilt 253, Holley Sniper EFI, a T5 Borgy manual and a reinforced diff.
One of the great parts about OUSC is competing against mates and the banter that comes with it, so the boys have some fun talking trash with James Mackie who was back in the XYYNOT drift Falcon, and having fun sliding around blazing tyres.
Give the lads some love and watch the video below, we’re already looking forward to next year!
