REECE PAGEL
HOLDEN HT KINGSWOOD
JUNE 2017
HIS dad is Wayne Pagel of GAS69 HT Monaro fame, while mum Sandy rocks the QIK68 HK Premier, so it was virtually a given that Reece Pagel would one day brew up an HK-T-G project of his own, and he went for neat sleeper vibe.
Josh Cardeno of Swains Motor Body Repairs and Craig Walpole from Extreme Custom Engineering took care of the body, before Josh laid down the custom-mix Driftwood beige. Wes Race Engines then built a fresh Holden stroker donk filled with some of COME Racing’s proven Aussie plastic-fantastic goodies, including a cast 383ci stroker crank and Crane solid-roller camshaft, topped with COME 590 alloy heads.
An output of 633hp@6850rpm is more than sufficient to obliterate the treads, but the twin 750cfm Pro System carbs peeking through the bonnet are the only giveaways.
