BILLED AS Australia’s answer to Goodwood’s Festival of Speed in the UK, the annual Geelong Revival is the perfect event for Australian racing enthusiasts to check out some classic racing machinery.

Held on the waterfront at Geelong its heritage dates back to the Geelong Speed Trials, but now it’s a festival of speed, music and all things retro. With free entry for spectators thousands came out to check out the classic car and bike displays and watch as they pitted themselves against the clock. Our giveaway Mustang got in on the action as well, and it ran a respectable time with racing legend John Bowe behind the wheel. You can read all about how to win the Mustang in our February issue, on sale January 21st 2014.
