The news is out! The fourth Australian instalment of the Optima Ultimate Street Car in association with Street Machine will rock Calder Park Raceway, 15 February 2025. After the success of last year, we’ve jumped on board to help take one of our favourite events to the next level.
There are only 80 racing spots available, so make sure you jump on it quick. Discount early bird entries are available now.
OUSC challenges the owners of fast street cars (on street tyres!) to put their ride to the test across five disciples: the hot lap, drags, auto test (think gymkhana), the speed stop (go-to-whoa) and design & engineering judging. That means to win, your car will need to not only go fast, but stop hard, handle well and be built right.

The event is open to any genre of car, broken down into classes for Muscle cars, Exotics, Tuner, Modern and Outlaw.
For more information on the competition side of the event, check out the OUSC party guide below. And if you’re tempted to join in, but are not sure if you’re ready, check out our run down on what it is like to experience the event for the first time here. It’s not as daunting as you might think!
So far, the OUSC title has gone to a Holden Monaro in 2019, a C6 Z06 Corvette in 2022 and an Audi TT in 2024. Who is going to win in 2025? We can’t wait to find out!

And if you would love to be a part of OUSC, but you’re not ready to send your car around the track, then enter the Street Machine VIP Park-Up and show off your car for the day.
