Underneath the patina-clad body hides an 88mm turbo, tasked with feeding a GM performance LS crate engine running FAST EFI. Behind the LS is not your typical Turbo 400 or Powerglide; Jason instead opted for a four-speed Lenco gearbox.
The mother-and-son team have spent quite a few years following the event as spectators, but they weren’t able to overcome the challenges they encountered in their first crack at Drag Week as entrants, recording a best of 13.1 before withdrawing with a blown rear end.
