Simon landed his dream job on Street Machine magazine in 2002 as features editor, under the tutelage of publishing guru Geoff Seddon. Moving up to editor in 2013, Simon and his team expanded the footprint of the brand to include the online build series Carnage, Drag Challenge events and e-commerce. These days, Simon oversees the teams behind 4X4 Australia, Unique Cars and Street Machine. Besides motoring titles, Simon has written for Qantas Magazine, Australian Guitar and the Sydney Morning Herald. Simon’s personal fleet includes a custom EJ Holden, a 1973 Triumph Tiger motorbike and a 1977 HZ Holden One Tonner. He also has the privilege of piloting a 600hp FX Holden at nostalgia drag racing events.
