Centralian Motors are backing Australia’s Ultimate Desert Motorsport Festival as it returns to Alice Springs from 2–5 September 2027.

The partnership brings together a long-standing Central Australian automotive business and one of the country’s biggest automotive festivals, which draws entrants and spectators from across Australia for four days of cars, bikes and serious competition in the Red Centre.

Locally owned and operated, Centralian Motors has been part of the Alice Springs community since 1966. Its support comes as momentum builds for Red CentreNATS 13, following the announcement of its massive prize pool in September.

Centralian Motors Director Tim Blazley said the business was excited to be involved with the iconic regional event.

“Becoming the naming rights sponsor of the region’s biggest automotive event reflects Centralian Motors’ commitment to supporting and celebrating the automotive culture in the Northern Territory.”

“[We are] excited to welcome automotive enthusiasts from across Australia to Alice Springs for what promises to be another fantastic celebration of automotive culture and competition!”

“We’re looking forward to working with the team behind this fantastic event as it enters its 13th year…” Blazley said.

With $200,000 on the line across its headline burnout and drag racing competitions, Centralian Motors Red CentreNATS 13 is shaping up to be BUILT DIFFERENT, bringing over $250K in prize money to the Red Centre.

Burnout competitors will go head-to-head across Desert Thrash 01 and 02 at the Ford 0870 Drag & Burnout Precinct at Alice Springs Inland Dragway (ASID), while War in the Desert 01 and 02 will bring major prize money and dial-in drag racing to the strip. At Lasseters, show cars and bikes will bring the shine, with Dirt Drags, street cruising and the iconic Yeperenye Street Parade adding even more to four massive days in Alice Springs.

Red CentreNATS promoter Andy Lopez says that the team is excited to have Centralian Motors Ford 0870 stepping up its involvement for Red CentreNATS 13.

“We’re rapt to have Centralian Motors coming on board in an even bigger way for 2027. Tim and the crew have been great supporters of Red CentreNATS, and it’s a real vote of confidence having a fantastic local Alice Springs business throwing their weight behind the event.”

“Red CentreNATS 13 is going to be a mega year – we’re talking the world’s richest burnout competition and Australia’s richest drag racing competition, so we’re certainly not mucking around in 2027.”

“We love coming to Alice Springs, we love what this event brings to the town, and we can’t wait to turn it up another notch!

Red CentreNATS 13 will run from 2–5 September 2027 in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Vehicle and bike entries are on sale now, with spectator tickets to be released separately.
