People would best know Darrell Leemhuis for his BOOSTED Holden Rodeo mini truck, which won Street Machine Summernats 22 Grand Champion back in 2009.

Winning both Grand Champion and the Top Judged awards, it was an eye-catching machine. He still owns the truck in the same form it was in all those years ago, but funnily enough Darrell reckons it’s probably the cheapest car he owns. 

What many may not know, is the Rodeo is just the tip of the iceberg for Darrell’s truly amazing car collection. JBens paid him a visit at his home in Canberra to check the 30 plus cars, all of which are collectible in their own right.

While most people usually centre their collections around one make, type or era of cars, Darrell is no such man. His collections spans everything from classic Holdens, hot rods, custom cruisers, motorcycles and even supercars with a Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin in the fleet.

Don’t be mistaken, none of these cars are about flex. Darrell has an intriguing story behind each one, which is why JBens couldn’t cut the final video to anything less than an hour short.
