AFTER its introduction in 1970, Chrysler’s Hemi six quickly developed a reputation for power and performance, and Andrew Sanders is continuing that tradition with his Hemi-powered Chrysler Centura.

Propelled by a turbocharged and fuel injected 265 Hemi, Andrew’s Centura continues to put the wind up the overhead cam and multi-valve wunderkids; proving that the old pushrod dinosaurs aren’t dead yet.

Of course none of this happened overnight. Andrew has been developing his strip only warrior for the best part of two decades and he’s covered the standing quarter as quickly as 7.88 at 171mph. We’ve got a full feature on his brilliant machine in the September issue of Street Machine magazine. So jump to it and grab a copy now.
